they could anyway (download and mint) but we're experimenting with making the most convenient way to do so, one where you get paid. the reasoning is that, as a creator, when you create something of value, you should "mint first, then distribute." you might post and then think, damn i should mint that, and now you can!

Copyright still applies — as do the remedies. If the media is not cc0 or similar, I wouldn’t recommend doing this. Slippery legal slope.

gotcha so how about this as our first iteration? 1. Anyone can use /sendit action 2. Then @bendit replies with frame 3. Only original caster can deploy yet to read any discussion that's happened in the past 9 hours while sleeping. guessing it's a bit controversial a solution to "where's the mint button?" perhaps

I think this might work but may run into an issue w/someone casting an image not their own. But overall this is better option imo And GM lol

gm, lol if we make it so only the caster can deploy, then they have a streamlined way to bring their work onchain, and if it's not their work, then at least it's on them claiming so. been thinking a lot about how artists share work to first validate it. then mint. but minting first (now so cheap) is important imo
