What is the one thing that your parents/family taught you that you most want to pass on to your own children?

For me it was that hard work and perseverance will win out against natural talent. Nothing in life is free. You have to work hard to get what you want in life, you can’t skip the ‘work hard’ part. They taught me that when you work hard for something then the fruits of your labour taste even sweeter in the end.

One thing my family taught me that I would most want to pass on to my children is the importance of samskaras—values like respect for elders, humility, compassion, and a sense of responsibility towards family and society. These are not just traditions but guiding principles that shape one's character and help navigate life with integrity and purpose.
