Still not understanding how rewards work. I stoked the fire just now and gained practically nothing, maybe it’s still loading? It went up by 0.001 🥲 @nbragg

Rewards are based on $fire-eth volume

They won’t go up when you stoke

It’ll go up now when speculation goes wild on the token 

Be patient, it’ll come 

And when it does the higher score you’ve got the better :)

So stoking when the value of $fire is higher is completely irrelevant? Asking because I have friends who have twice my rewards and half my 🏆/🛖

It’s based on historical volume

The volume vs your current score vs current leaderboard score at any moment in time

If I have double your score when volume is high I’ll get double the rewards to you during that period

Right now volume is low so rewards aren’t moving much :)

It’s very clever

Just need to be ready for those moments 😁

The cost of $fire is irrelevant 

Todays volume is $50k

Last week there was a day when it was $1.3m

You just need to be patient and wait for those days 

Get your score up in the meantime :)

But makes more sense when you see it play out over time
