I've tried different methods of managing my finances and found the perfect mix for me:

▫️Mobile apps.
They allow you to quickly spend and make money on the go. For example: CoinKeeper, Monefy, Monobank, Abank. This helps me not to turn off the minimum expenses.

▫️Excel tables.
Once a month, I transfer data from the app to Excel. This allows me to see the full picture: how much I spent, saved, and how close I am to my expenses. Tables are convenient for long-term planning.

▫️ Notebook for ideas.
I write down savings ideas, a wish list, or goals - this helps you and reminds myself of the motive for which I keep track.
