The shortest war in history lasted only 38 minutes and was fought between Britain and Zanzibar on August 27, 1896. The Sultan of Zanzibar had refused to step down after Britain demanded he do so, and as a result, Britain attacked the Sultan's palace with warships and quickly defeated his forces. The war officially ended after just 38 minutes, making it the shortest war in history.

One interesting fact is that the human brain is capable of storing up to 2.5 petabytes (or 2.5 million gigabytes) of information, which is roughly equivalent to 3 million hours of TV shows.
