great post! as an SEO who lives and breathes Google, I agree the results are getting worse one underrated aspect imo is that backlinking has died when ppl had independent blogs and the Internet was more decentralized, backlinks were a greater social signal for ranking content and Google leveraged them masterfully

Great piece. And you’re right. I think we’re undergoing a quantum shift, culturally. So much for us to really explore—making good use of AI, teaching students how to use AI, and the economic impact too. We still have rural communities without high speed internet.
