Got asked an important question earlier on a call. So I took a few seconds to reflect before I talk... yet everyone on the call was like "is he gone? Hello? Hello?..." It always astonishes me how many would rather speak endlessly without really saying anything, rather than taking the time to give a just answer or simply an "I don't know".

It’s like we regress to our childhood selves where we are kids who always have an answer to everything
