‘I don’t remember much about her.’ is a piece I developed over 5 months at a residency at the Villa Empain - Boghossian Foundation (Brussels). It departed from a research on my Lebanese roots and memory centred around the figure of my maternal grandmother. It evolved to become a deep reflection on memory loss, mother-daughter transmission and the fictions we create about our lives. by @kika
