I wanted to do my /flows update in this channel to bring some awareness to prop 785 "flows.wtf development v2" π« For my live music flow I did a small 3 city experimental music tour through the center of Colombia. I took my Noggles, my @bigshotklim toy and @nadiecito.eth Masita bandana with me on this nounish adventure ββ¨-β¨ [a thread π§΅]

The first night was in Cervezas Kalima in Cali, a small local brewery that has become a hub for the local indie musician scene. First Sergio Florez, composer and synth nerd from Bogota played a beautiful ambient set. After that I played my - I don't even know what to call it but kind of like Jazz Improv mixed with generative synth music and live looping - Set. https://www.tiktok.com/@gabriel.lago.music/video/7489936732171980087

The second day I was playing in Maleza Coworking in Pereira. Right when the music had gone into the depths of the most atonal free jazz, the police came to shut the place down. They came in with like 278193829 police men, local TV camera crew, the fucking mayor (literally) as I was sampling Q+A by Dave Holland. It was a very colombian magical realism situation. Check out the face of the local administration listening to my music π https://www.tiktok.com/@gabriel.lago.music/video/7490652585943239941

Finally I played in Casa Chamico in Salento, probablly one of the most beautiful towns i have ever seen. The food was sooooo good, the coffee was soooooo good. Probably the best way to end this tour. https://www.tiktok.com/@gabriel.lago.music/video/7493245326325746950

Flows.wtf has been probably one of the coolest projects of this community, and an instrumental part of the development of my musical journey this first part of the year. It has allowed me like take the leap into taking my solo work more seriously. 100 dollars a month is not a lot of money but it was enough for me to say fuck it Imma just go and do what I really like to fucking do, which is like free improvisation (not the most lucrative type of music π). And peoples response to it and to the whole idea of nouns - especially musicians who are constantly trying to figure out how to make their proyects financially viable - was so positive. I had some mind blowing conversations about DAOs and governance and the imporance of Art and how AI and the impending collapse of western society (we can only hope ππΌ) is creating a socioeconomic context where finding new ways to use and understand money is fundamental for this next chapter of humanity.

There is still a couple of hours left on Prop 785! @rocketman is da π! I think flows is the best way to onboard people into Nouns, into the process of governance. I think it has so much potential to grow and evolve into what it should be. https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/785
