Bought this on the cheap to install in my dads house for airplay on spotify

20y old apple device airport express 1st gen i cannot config w modern apple software

Options : 

A. trying hard by ethernet/wifi on old software/mac (snow leopard)
B.buying 2nd gen (design is different and does not plug to the wall directly) 
C. Forget it


Will try a. During the xmas season

option a seems to work but i dont have old mac hardware
