There are some sick people out there. Shortly after I made this cast, I believe someone launched a ddos attack or something similar on my frame in an attempt to skyrocket my vercel bill. My normal usage was around 40k-100k invocations per day. This spiked to 1.5 million within a few hours. My duration usage is normally 20-60 gb hours per day and that spiked to over 2400 gb hours. 

I’ve suspended my frames temporarily until I figure this out. They managed to take my bill from the normal $20 a month to $300. I created a case with vercel to hopefully waive the fees from the obvious attack. If I do end up having to pay it, I won’t be using my moxie gains to do so. 

Some people really hate to see others do well.

After waiting 2 weeks with some back and forth with Vercel, they are giving me a $100 credit towards the $282 bill. Sucks but better than nothing. So my monthly bill will be $200 instead of the normal $20. The billing cycle ends the 27th so I'll be able to unpause my frames after that.

Won't it be better you create a new account ? 

Then introduce rate limiting of some sort to your endpoints

That's really sad 💔  I think if it were me and I don't want to pay that bill, I'll either use an alternative to vercel or I'll create a new account and forget that bill just because some set of unreasonable people decided to put me in that situation

What would creating a new account do? I still have to pay the bill
