I'm a definite "nay" on pineapple as a pizza topping if you've had pineapple and pizza individually you'd notice the  the sweetness of the pineapple clashes with the savoury flavours of the cheese and sauce, throwing off the flavour balance. Plus, the juicy chunks can make the crust soggy

I completely agree, pineapple's sweetness overpowers the savory flavors of pizza. The texture also disrupts the crisp crust. Sticking to traditional toppings is the way to go!
