One week into the crypto analyst's new life in Portugal and already, the differences are striking. Winters are surprisingly mild, the sun shines bright, and nature is abundant. Food is affordable, and the language barrier is manageable. Leaving my old life behind was easier than expected, and the proximity to Belgium makes frequent trips back home a breeze.
