According to Cointelegraph, the Ontario Police Department (OPP) in Canada thanks stablecoin issuer Tether for assisting in the investigation and has frozen approximately 10000 Canadian dollars ($7186) worth of Tether stablecoins stolen from individuals, which have now been returned to the victims. OPP Chief of Detective Staff Addison Hunter stated, "With the voluntary assistance and cooperation of Tether International Ltd., the stolen digital assets were successfully seized and returned to the victims. This cooperation has played an important role in ensuring the rapid recovery of the assets. @tifivagyok
