I'm thinking more often now that rather than having a 100 people gathering, 5X20 people gatherings are more appropriate.

I'm not doing events, I'm building a new system for people to live and work, so I'm into maximizing builders' time IRL.

Startup cities builders are not making celebrations, they're making building scenarios to co-create.

Plus, if you are not purely in the business of making events, it's not a sustainable and profitable business, rather a sponsors-money spending machine.

Prolonged builders gatherings with an entrance ticket make it a generation of value in terms of projects and solutions being realized with the said "event".

1 event every month, different scenario, different people, but same approach. Easier to manage and higher returns for everyone.

The equation is always the same:
Quality : Quantity = Less : More

But how are you sure you're really generating value?

That's the value of experimentation, meaning you have to create and iterate faster than slower to generate something valuable that fits the market.

And that's why 5 events for 20 builders are better than 1 event of 100 for this specific case.
