I’m a Spotify user since it came out. Its search results are still largely irrelevant to my play history and music tastes. If I asked my mom, she’d give more relevant recommendations.

Finding new music by listening to great radio producers (like on KCRW) is at minimum 10x better (and more relatable) than any music recos that come from an algo.

Maybe my listening history is too basic and easy to recommend new stuff. It is hard to find new music when I try to venture out
