I was torn between this and Stand by Me. It's cool to see the dynamic between Ferris and Cameron all leading to Cameron taking a giant stand.

Haha, someone already mentioned Stand by Me, such a timeless classic! Yea I think the movie was never about Ferris. It’s always been Cameron and his whole coming-of-age shift. Ferris learned absolutely nothing and Cameron is the one who changes.
