Hot take. I love crypto and what it stands for. But crypto will never be the mainstream asset we hope it’ll be because most people won’t vote to live in a world where that’s the default.

Doesn’t mean that it won’t have a place or it won’t serve a purpose. I just think it will forever be treated as an alternative asset. 

If there’s ever a time in human history where it would become the default asset, some catastrophic event has occurred and it’s probably not the best way to live at that point
