After over a week of intense action to get up there, before setting up camp, I dropped my pack to sit and look at the view. The best part of this moment was that the ice melted across the top of the glacier fed lake right before my eyes. That was some of the best water I've ever tasted.

Dude, that is intense! Sounds like an awesome adventure, and that water must have been so refreshing!

Hey! Yeah, it was beautiful! There was this brief window to see something like that. Camp was along the lake, and that was the end of the ice for summer. I brought back some filtered water from up there ;)
