I have been drawing for years. Today I saw an animation of AI that shocked me. The world has become scary for designers and animators

@funghibull As much as I like AI, have personally used and also collected it, most of the imaging software doesn’t solve anything and creates an abundance so high, that it dims the light of the craft. Many wanna say that it creates more value for the original work, but that’s what blockchain

@WGMeets - manual creation will probably always have a premium for some and I wouldn't be surprised if it increased over time in response to slopification

I agree with some of what you said—especially that AI has made things a lot faster.

I ask AI for software questions that I wouldn’t know who else to ask. It has made me far less dependent on people, and it even gives me artistic feedback, influencing my style. But sometimes, an voxel art takes me a month to design but by ai it can be generated in under five seconds. That scares me. I fear that one day, instead of being a tool for enhancement, AI might completely replace me.

At that point, i think personal branding and a person who designs an art will likely matter more than any thing
