Rules in /automod are now more focused on curation. Before: filter out the bad stuff, left overs are in Main Now: pick the good stuff No action necessary, all your rules have been migrated. Walkthrough below.

Other changes in this update: Multiple rule sets have been removed. Why? Too confusing; too much support. Folks made mistakes or were too intimidated. It started to approach complexity of programming. Automated Ban and Cooldown actions are removed. Why? Low usage (only 4 rule sets), often used incorrectly. You can still ban or cooldown with cast actions and I'll be bringing them back in a more user friendly way. Any rules using these as actions were converted to a Hide. Language Filter temporarily removed. Why? It is not accurate enough at low cast length. It needs more fine grained configuration and QA.

it's really cool to see your changes and the reasons for those changes, how do you track feature engagement? do you talk to people or do you have a tool that tracks it for you?

Mostly through conversations, reading logs and looking at the database directly. I reach out to nearly everyone that uses automod. I do have and recommend posthog, but I didn’t instrument it down to the feature level.
