Gambling is treated as taboo in school, all but outlawed. Is there a world where fewer people make devastating risky decisions in adulthood because we better acclimate and educate our youth via gambling in safer and controlled environments?

Not to mention including any kind of financial literacy at all.

Education is great. Acclimating I feel very confident is not a good idea

I would suggest even adults in their early 20s avoid touching gambling

I don't believe there is a clear line of what constitutes a gambling vs what we deal with in day to day life.

It's unavoidable, it's just a factor of whether we have responsible framing for it or not.

I would just draw the line at the things that creates degens regularly vs the things that don’t empirically. I can’t think of an example of something that is grey area

Generally research and also anecdotally young people become degens at a much higher rate when introduced to things

Lots of things that aren’t usually considered gambling start qualifying based on this

They are these people addicted to the dopamine hit of anticipating that they might win gambling

What are degens? Anyone who gets in over their head?

Credit cards? Car leases? Signing bad contracts in general without having the experience of understanding the consequences or the structure of the terms/game?

Making life decisions based on an upcoming election? Not wearing a condom? Etc.
