Ethereum futures market open interest reached the highest level in the last 19 months! Yesterday (Future Open Interest) Ethereum reached its highest level in the last seven months. This increase in activity in the Ethereum Futures Open Interest Market usually indicates interest from institutional investors, but increased interest does not necessarily indicate a positive outlook for the price of Ethereum. Ethereum experienced a 10% correction between July 31 and August 2, retesting the $3,000 support for the first time since July 8. Part of this decline in Ethereum prices can be attributed to the lack of net inflows into Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and particularly the notable outflow of Grayscale's recently launched US-based ETF.
