Can be - not for everybody. I definitely ditched my switch for it. And its the portable device i was looking for!

Battery doesn't last as long as I'd like. Thumbsticks are satisfyingly clacky & tactile *feelsgoodman.png*

Pretty heavy for a handheld but more comfortable grip than switch

Screen is huge & vibrant, speedy game loads

Super fun for platformers like spelunky, bg3 is bit awkward bc I'm used to mouse/kb controls
