Investing.com - US President Donald Trump has set the course for a realignment of American digital policy with a new regulation. The executive order signed on Thursday provides, among other things, for the consideration of a national Bitcoin and crypto reserve. At the same time, all plans for the introduction of a digital central bank currency (CBDC) are to be stopped. Instead, the US government wants to promote the spread of privately issued stablecoins.
