This is a 900+ page tome called “information arts: intersections of art, science, and technology. Sounds great, right? But I have never read it. It covers each topic with a selection of artists, often quoted talking about their work. But the illustrations are few and of poor quality (see replies).

The section on Algorithmic Art might interest many, but the content is a bit thin. Like this bit about Verostko. Also mentioned: Ken Musgrave & John Maeda.

Thanks for sharing, Vanessa. I bought it back then and did a bit of reading here and there. Would need to revisit it to provide a proper statement. But as you said already, the breadth of topics might be its biggest strength. 150 $degen 🫴🖤
