“Painkiller” and “Dopesick” are two mini-series that portray the story of Purdue Pharma, the Sackler family, and the marketing of OxyContin. At the time the gov’t went after them, I didn’t pay much attention: “a drug company doing corrupt stuff, I guess it must be a weekday.” But wow. These folks really did go beyond the pale. 

“Painkiller” stars Matthew Broderick, while “Dopesick” features Michael Keaton. Good for binge-watching, I couldn’t stop.
