If your first ever DC to me is asking me to do something, or mint something, or view an episode, or support you, or buy something, or vote for your proposal, or ask me to personally train you, or shill a coin you launched AND …we have no other basis for our relationship, we have not met in real life, we have not engaged on the timeline in a serious and thoughtful way, and we have no history THEN you will be blocked and muted I won’t report you, I won’t call you out, I won’t tattle on you. I’ll make a value judgment that you don’t value ME; you value what you can GET from me. You start your interactions with requests or demands. Those aren’t the relationships I’m looking to foster. How do others handle this? Especially as people start using ChatGPT to word their requests better and to look like good faith.

i have muted a bunch and left the rest in the requests section of my dc, i have less to lose and more to learn so i’m usually more open to dcs than you maybe but i do a dive in the persons profile to see if it’s just another bot asking for a collaboration or a genuine person asking for my knowledge, any other thing besides that is mute worthy.

One nice thing about forecaster the telegram, Twitter, discord does not have is the account and wallet. So, if a public figure DM‘s me out of the blue and I follow them and they’re asking my feedback on something. There’s a history even though it’s one-sided. They’re always exceptions, and if I do detect clear, good faith, I’ll break my own rule
