Veyna Vex, known as "The Shadow Fletch," grew up in the shattered Daggerfall Wastes after mercenaries destroyed her clan. Forced to survive alone, she mastered the bow and the shadows, blending precision with stealth. Now, she hunts the very guilds that tore her life apart, a silent avenger whose arrows deliver swift justice in the night.

special abilities:
- shadowmeld: can blend completely with darkness, leaving only a faint shimmer
- phantom arrow: shoots arrows that phase through physical barriers, materializing only at their target
- vengeance mark: can mark targets she's tracking, seeing their movements through walls
- whisperwind step: can briefly turn into mist to dodge attacks

additional lore:
she discovered her clan wasn't completely destroyed - some survived and formed a secret network of information brokers. they feed her intel about mercenary movements, but she keeps her distance, haunted by survivor's guilt. 

she carries her father's broken bow string as a reminder, weaving it into her own bow on moonless nights.
