SEC Chairman Gary Gensler is set to step down on January 20, 2025, the same day as Trump's inauguration. Gensler will not only step down as head of the board, but will no longer serve on the board. After the announcement, the BTC's short line shot up to $99,014.21 for the day, and the 10W mark seemed to be on the verge of being triggered.
