This is not a pro-Trump post; it's a pro-Bitcoin one :) Yesterday, Trump gave a pro-Bitcoin speech, linking the topic to individual sovereignty and the competitiveness of the United States. Although his conviction about the technology and its applications may be limited, this marks a major turning point for the sector: cryptocurrency enthusiasts have become numerous enough (about 12% of the population in the U.S., a similar proportion to that in France according to the latest KPMG study) to constitute an electoral base to woo and form a significant part of a political platform. This naturally leads to more or less realistic and interesting political proposals, but they all point towards the development of the sector. The days when Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies were unanimously rejected by the establishment seem to be over. Bitcoin Won.
