This week I built @pugs  + pugs.base.eth - 

PUGS started as a simple idea: celebrate a breed I love.

Through videos, memes, and community-driven content, I grew the PUGS network to over 2M followers and 50M monthly impressions at its peak.

Now, I’m using the momentum to build something bigger

PUGS is evolving into an onchain art project that combines creativity with a purpose – raising funds for animals and shelters around the world.

The project will start with an onchain animated series inspired by real-life and relevant topics.

Following the relaunch of the project, there will be a collection of 7777+ adoptable PUGS that support shelters and real world programs.

This project aims to link digital ownership with real-world action.

PUGS-branded dog parks are scheduled to open in Q1 of 2025 and 2026. These parks will provide safe spaces for dogs, allowing holders to connect and collaborate while enjoying time with their pets.

Every piece of art and program contributes to this mission.

From the Cage to the Chain – A hardgood product line that connects digital and physical rewards and access.

This initiative features physical keychains linked to onchain benefits, as well as real-world rewards lol and other exclusive collaborative products.

Revenue will be shared among holders, shelters, and featured holders and their pugs who appear in our content and merchandise.

Funds will be reinvested into builders, creators, and new initiatives.

Art serves as a funding mechanism for creating real impact.

Cares

As part of the /cares initiative, we have been developing tools and technologies to help other communities replicate our model.

This includes funding for digital art and software for shelters, as well as creating real-world spaces for connection. We will offer a framework that anyone can use to engage with their local communities.

At its largest, the PUGS network reached millions. Now, it’s about something bigger.
