Issued by Brale in partnership with Etherfuse, MXNe is the first Mexican peso-backed stablecoin in the Base ecosystem powering onchain payments and FX in the local Mexican economy 🇲🇽

MXNe is available to swap on @aerodrome, acquire through Capa Finance, or mint 1:1 through Brale.

By transacting in Pesos on-chain, Mexican communities benefit from lower fees, near-instant settlements, and the ability to retain more value within their ecosystem.

How good are these stablecoins? They can be 100% backed with reserves but then how liquid are these reserves? It’s not an issue for US bonds etc. but I imagine it’s a bit more complicated in smaller markets. Would live to write something about that for our newsletter!
