Today we went to the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milano… I paid for the audio guide… which I quickly realized was a waste as most of the works didn’t even have an entry. Then I had this eiphany that I could hold up my phone and enable ChatGPT audio/video and get a custom walk-through of the entire museum in my earbuds… and now my LIFE IS LITERALLY CHANGED

A few thoughts on the wallet 1. We’re still testing it! Expect a bunch of rough edges. But we will fix and iterate. Starting with a ~1000 people and expanding from there. 2. Goal is to make onchain actions reliable and smooth directly from the feed—frames and token links 3. There’s a bunch of new surface area to explore given all of the social context; but focused on getting the basics shipped and working well 4. Important — there’s no private key export yet; you don’t have to use the wallet if you don’t want to. 5. You can continue to use Rainbow or Coinbase Wallet via deeplinks (via MWP); there’s a preferred wallet toggle in settings. 6. It’s been a full team effort, but a big shout out to @blockheim @deodad @horsefacts.eth @gabrielayuso.eth and then everyone who has been giving feedback

if I could do it all again without the trial/error, could probably get it all done in about a day (I only had about 500Gb of photos/videos) - google takeout of photos/albums (I ended up with nine 50Gb export zips) - get those export zips onto the Synology - install Immich via docker on synology - use `immich-go` script to import the zip files directly (took about 6hrs) - wait about 20hrs for Immich background processes to generate thumbs, transcode video, do face recognition/machine learning desktop and mobile apps are great! PS - I’m accessing everything thru a tailscale network (so the synology isn’t directly on the internet)
