one thing on my mind today is what the u.s. election means for X and therefore for Farcaster 

It’s clearly a big win for X and will bolster X as the place to be for cryptotwitter banter and conservative takes 

Whereas prior to the election it was less clear how Elon’s X experiment was going

So what does that mean for Farcaster? 

imo it means Farcaster needs to lean harder and faster into programmable transactions, mini apps, and tokens. Bull market is coming which means more trading and more transactions. Farcaster can own that space. But key is tangible success stories. Apps that got tons of tx volume on farcaster. Tokens that took off on farcaster. People who made zillions on farcaster.

The main problem here is retention
People can lecture all they want but the truth is its hard to grow in this app period. And too many changes all the time.
Also this constant comparison with X lowkey tells me that you're not confident enough on farcaster. 
X is king the whole crowd is there. 
And whoever tried onboarding here left cuz it was too much for them. And i understand them. I feel the same
