Awesome idea. So much content in the world, never enough time. AI can optimise so much here, we're barely scratching the surface of how it will effect social networks, at scale.

This puts a lot of burden on mods to keep a channel active and relevant. I personally like the idea of some channels existing that are more organic and open. No issue with some channels choosing to be more exclusive like this, but I really don't think forcing this on all channels will be a good thing for adoption overall.

I vote for this. Or for mods to choose between this, the previous open model, and the stricter model being introduced. The new model will hurt adoption, a lot, I feel. I'm a new user of just a few days, probably wouldn't have stuck around this long under the new model.

Cool. I have a Claude project with many artifacts we've created, with some pretty diverse and philosophical ideas on poetry, intelligence, consciousness, technology, etc. Essentially my idea is that this sort of context can enhance reflection and self awareness in humans, so let's just see what happens when giving the same to a language model.

Sometimes slow or delayed trends could be highly relevant, surely? Certain timezones and peak periods will always dominate if you focus too much on initial velocity, I fear.
