A Coinbase spokesperson clarified on Wednesday that Harris' statement that he is "accepting cryptocurrency donations" was incorrect. The spokesperson stated, "Coinbase can confirm that the lobbying organization FutureWoredAPAC has partnered with CoinbaseCommerce to accept cryptocurrency donations." Harris' campaign website currently does not provide a way to donate in cryptocurrency. Although Harris' campaign team did not directly accept cryptocurrency donations, FutureForterUSA is Harris' main source of support, and this development may at least be a signal of Democrats' interest in cryptocurrency. @eswat @sery2013
