I use Beeper, too, and it is amazing! Very much recommended imo.

i learned about it here in farcaster too, actually. 

i never tried texts.com bc wasn’t mobile. beeper is great. not perfect. and i still have to use the native apps for certain actions, but it’s a lifesaver.

thanks. i won’t try it. it has to be mobile. i am mobile maxi. i try to do as much of my life on mobile and if an app isn’t there not worth my time. 

also beeper is more purist re local first etc. texts got acquired by twilio iirc.

This is a good point indeed. In fact, because of the mobile app, I use Beeper much more than Texts. I do like keeping an eye also on Texts, to see how the product will evolve.
