People really don't care what you do or what you think your identity is. They're too busy worrying about how others perceive them. (Unless you're a proper celeb and there's an organized group out there to get you ofc :D)

You'd apply as a team in most hackatons imo. And anyone with skills is useful. Hackatons aren't just about building tech, but about building a viable business. Designers, marketers etc can make a team win the hackaton.

Awesome work with quadratic user voting (@devfolio). Used QV for a polling/gov platform on Antelope years ago, good stuff. The voting search needs a bit of love though. I'm searching for projects by name, and direct matches are on 10th position, or don't show up at all.
