On the 17th, the President of the Financial Supervisory Agency of South Korea, Lee Bok hyun, stated during an audit by the National Assembly Political Committee that "we are investigating the issue of AVAIL coins traded on Bithumb". Avail surged to 3500 Korean won within 15 minutes after launching on July 23 at 263 Korean won, but fell back to 296 Korean won less than a day later, sparking suspicion of price manipulation. Regarding this, Min Byoung dug, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, stated that the AVAIL token incident means that Bithumb's own abnormal trading system is not functioning at all. Bithumb said that only transactions that account for more than 5% of the total issuance will be considered abnormal transactions. @drunky
