I would say, Hey Dan, the future of social networks isnβt just about decentralization, scalability, or incentivesβitβs about making them truly human. People donβt stay on a platform because of a protocol; they stay because they feel seen, heard, and connected. Right now, most social platforms, whether Web2 or Web3, are designed for engagement metrics, not real relationships. Farcaster has the opportunity to change that, but the question isβhow do we make decentralized social feel less like an experiment and more like home?
The problem with most decentralized networks isnβt thplacee techβitβs the experience. Too often, Web3 social feels cold, transactional, and gamified. People show up for airdrops, farm engagement, and move on when the rewards dry up. 1 reply
