Next up: the following iteration of private testnet will enable composability between the different types of smart contracts on Fluent. Contracts in Rust will be able to make calls to contracts in Solidity, for example. This opens up the design space for novel apps composed in multiple programming languages.

V2 of Fluent’s Private Testnet now supports smart contracts built & deployed using Rust, Solidity, and Vyper 🛠️ This makes an ecosystem of existing Ethereum tools & smart contract code accessible to Fluent app devs, in addition to optimizations for building Rust based apps.
