icymi, the @publicnouns community just passed a proposal to add 2.5 ETH to our SQF Round, extending it for another month! 🎉 We’ve also had plenty of smaller donations, and we’re beyond grateful for all the support. 💚 This shared experiment with @flowstatecoop and @superfluid is pretty exciting! Unlike traditional one-time donations, SQF (Streaming Quadratic Funding) lets you support projects over time, all without all the donor-management overhead! It’s also super flexible: ➡️ As a donor, add to the round anytime and adjust your contributions as needed. You're always in control of your support. ➡️ As a project, you get consistent, real-time funding without the stress of constant fundraising. We’ve got a fantastic list of projects building amazing tools + products. As the year winds down, the @octant Accelerator SQF round was set to conclude... But wait, there's more! The awesome folks @publicnouns have contributed 2.5 ETH to extend the round until the end of January. SQF isn't designed for one-off windfalls but for creating ongoing sustainability for builders. Who's going to extend and/or grow the flow next? 💸 🌊

That NFT is specific to the Octant SQF round at https://flowstate.network/octant. It's basically our Sybil check for quadratic matching eligibility. With that NFT, you can now open a direct donation stream in the round to Farcastle & get matched up to x112(!) (and/or open streams to any of the other great grantees).

We've been thinking a lot about grantees. We've focused on support from a program perspective, but there's more to funding we're excited to unveil. In current models, you donate + projects get matched. But what if you want to give more to standout projects? And if a grantee abandons a project, how do you hold them accountable or withdraw funding? We're experimenting with @flowstatecoop and @superfluid on Streaming Quadratic Funding (SQF). SQF lets donors stream ongoing funds to projects over time (daily/weekly/monthly), unlike one-time donations! What makes it special? Ongoing support: streamed, matched, and received in real-time. For our first SQF round we’re running a 15 ETH round for our Octant Accelerator cohort. This could revolutionize donor and grantee interactions.
