They really are! The flocks do these circles around the various areas of the town I live in. So you can get a shot lined up and wait till they come around again and get some cool captures

lol I grew up near the beach so I get that! These are actually like raised and trained, then raced. They do one where they release them in Italy and the race ends back here in Portugal!

Oh, no way - that’s epic! 🤯 Never heard of anything like that. I wonder if it’s a thing here in the U.S.? If my time on FC has taught me anything it’s that I need to travel through Europe and Asia. Feels like you guys are having all the fun lol

I'm not sure if they do it in the US. I know they have the carrier pigeon thing and people raise them on roof tops and all, but haven't really seen or heard of them racing them. I'm from the US, moved here 3 years ago. It's definitely been a fun and informative experience!
