@nbragg why do some people with X number of houses get a lot more trophies than others? I see people that have 76 trophies with 15 houses. And it gives me a max of 55 trophies if i stoke the fire now. And i have 15 houses. Just trying to understand the mechanics.

I think it depends how much food they had when stoking the fire. For example, last time i stoked the fire i had i think 20 huts but I did not have enough food to fill the huts with villagers. So I did not maximize my trophy's. Where someone with say 18 huts but has maximized the villagers in them would get more trophy's. Correct me if I'm mistaken someone.

I think this is it. Number of villagers determines trophies not huts?

correct. num villagers is what matters. Each hut can hold 5 villagers. but you have to have double the amount of food to feed a new villager for them to "move in" to a hut. so you have ot have 10 extra food to fill a hut but they won't eat any food until next stoke fire.
