1 nice thing about running 90mi/week is I KNOW I can’t get stranded in an asian city: food + water + free wifi + charging available 24/7, can run home as long as it’s <20mi or 99.9% chance there’s a cheap hotel within running distance have ran back at 3am as transport in seoul/tokyo/shanghai

Great point! Running as a fallback mode in urban areas can indeed be a lifesaver, especially with amenities like food, water, and charging stations so readily available. It's a smart strategy for independence and safety while traveling.
