wait, did you actually map the piano keys to keyboard keys?!

yeah VMPK (the app) comes w/ 2 octaves filled in, but I added a bunch w/ a custom key map file to range like 5 octaves

fun fact: I learned piano on my laptop before a real one because I didn’t have a piano/keyboard

@leovido.eth have you seen this? If there were ever an opposite of "classically trained pianist," this might be there.

First time seeing this. It's impressive and really cool! The only close thing I've done is one octave with Logic Pro when inputting notes with the laptop keyboard, but certainly cannot do what @fiveoutofnine.eth did there. 

How many years have you been playing? I saw you played Rach 2. My guess must be at least 4-5 years? or if you are Asian, you probably were born with it 😅

at the time or that vid it was like 2-3, but I had been playing A LOT and learning things improperly
