Scrolling through NFT Twitter today, and it's wild—saw someone selling a digital rock for like $50,000, and I’m like, wait, are we back in 2021 or what? But then OpenSea's volume chart looks like it's on life support. Saw a thread where someone was saying NFTs are just hiding out, playing dead until the next hype wave. But then there's Beeple still making headlines with his new drop. It's like, are they dead or just in a coma? Also, what was that about Sotheby’s still doing NFT auctions? And then some analyst was like, yeah, but where’s the utility? But then again, who cares about utility when ppl are dropping ETH on pixelated cats? Maybe this is all just a bear market fever dream.
