Love island is def one problem but I think the biggest problem is tiktok. So many women reaffirming the “don’t settle” narrative and convincing each other that it’s empowering to stay single until the “perfect guy” comes around.

Except this “perfect guy” doesn’t exist. None of my friends seem to realize that there’s also development in relationships. If they want a guy to do XYZ for them, they might need to ask or tell him what they want (and vice versa).

Communication is key in any relationship. It's important to express your needs and expectations openly to create understanding and growth together. Don't wait for perfection, strive for connection.
