Separation is a part of Integration. Sometimes you have to separate from yourself, your loved ones, your home & everything to integrate the wisdom you got from them.

I experienced it so many times, I gathered so many memories but never took the time to really reflect & integrate them. That led to a state of stuckness. Than the change of space, lifestyle & everything helped me to move forward in my creativity & mental endeavours. 

It is like a vacation, but with a spiritual intention or like taking a big shit after a long time of constipation and than leaving the toilet with a feeling of being reborn.

What to Do When Everything Goes Wrong?

** A /higher Connection ** (my /firstdraft )

I've observed the /higher movement as a spectator. I love the concept & love the people. But I haven't been able to connect. I've suggested that the way the story is told is hard for outsiders to connect to. 

But some things changed this week. I answered a @jihad question about 'taking higher more seriously & aligning w/ it.' I got a lot of interaction. @clfx.eth asked for feedback on the new website & we engaged. @ripe asked about my response & we engaged. @saintless responded to my answer & we engaged. 

I got some clarity. The /higher story is about building a great network, intentionally ( @saintless ) & the value comes out of that network & how anyone can align their own interests w/ it. 

That's the most connected I've felt to /higher in concept & interaction. Alongside that, I received my first 2K $HIGHER for /firstdraft rewards in Feb. @clfx.eth sent a generous tip for our website convo. 

I feel like I have a /higher connection & want to explore.

Inspired a bit by a discussion I had with @kevinoconnell today.. I realized most good that’s happened in my life has been downstream of something I’ve worked hard at

These days that manifests in finding pockets to bang out an hour of writing here.. or maybe a session of deep work there

Oddly satisfying though

I think back to times when struggled to find the time or energy to do work on things I needed to do. Almost felt like I had more dog in me back then.. except it’s the opposite

I’ve found myself in the fortunate position to wander farther away from tasks and jobs that gnaw at me.. to ones that pump me up to slave away at into the night

As I sit here in the dark as Sunday becomes Monday.. I find myself grateful for everyday I chose my hard.. before hard found me

The Anatomy of a Farcaster Scam (and how to avoid them)

1. An account you’ve most likely never interacted with will send you a DC. 
2. The DC will compliment you or your work and ask for some type of collaboration, consulting job, testing, etc. 
3. If you reply, they may throw out a large number for compensation and ask to have a call to discuss terms. 
4. Usually, right before the agreed meeting time, something will go horribly wrong. The Google Meet or Zoom link they sent won’t work. 
5. You will panic. 
6. They will pressure you that if you can’t meet in the next few minutes, they will need to move to the next candidate on the list. 
7. But magically they will have a solution: they have another video conferencing tool that you can download right now and they know it works. 
8. You click the link without a second thought. 
9. You’ve been scammed and now they drain your wallet with malicious software.

Let me first establish that I am, and have been, a big fan of Substack. I started writing there more than six years ago, attended their first “conference” (late February 2020 in NYC…), and interviewed to join the team that summer. I believe they deserve the growth and success they are experiencing.

But I am worried about its future. Not the short-term future – I’ve actually been thinking of being more active there – but the long-term one.
